Goldendoodles are designer dogs. They are a cross between a Golden Retriever and a Standard Poodle. Because of this, they inherit traits from both sides of their heritage. The result is a complex breed that rewards you for getting to know them better.
Poodles are athletic, happy, friendly dogs, with a weight ranging from 45-70lbs. Golden Retrievers are a sporting breed weighing 55-75lbs.

Some may have smoother, easy to maintain coats. Others may require daily brushing, bathing and even drying.
